SOLAR-POWERED manufacturing
A significant portion of Canter’s facility runs on on-site solar generation, reducing grid dependence and lowering the facility’s energy footprint. Energy consumption is monitored and tracked as part of environmental management records..
WASTE DISPOSAL & MANAGEMENT
Fabric offcuts and production waste are managed under documented waste disposal contracts. Waste records are maintained and available for audit review. CAD/plotter pattern optimisation actively minimises cutting waste.

Water consumption and energy usage are monitored across production operations. Tracking records form part of environmental compliance documentation reviewed during SEDEX/SMETA audits and buyer assessments.

Fabric & Trim Sourcing
Canter maintains an approved supplier list covering all fabric and trim sources. Supplier profiles, purchase invoices, and delivery records are documented per order and available to buyers requiring material traceability.

Subcontracting Policy
All production is conducted within Canter’s own Lahore facilities. Any subcontracted activity, where applicable, is formally declared in writing before commencement. Undeclared subcontracting is a zero-tolerance violation.

Buyers and compliance auditors may request: approved supplier lists, Supplier Code of Conduct sign-offs, fabric traceability records by order, production flow documentation, and subcontractor declarations.
